Terms of Use

1. Parties & Definitions

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the relationship between YES BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ YAZILIM DANIŞMANLIK SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. ("YesPDF", "Company") and any natural or legal person ("User") who uses the YesPDF Online service (online.yespdf.com.tr).

1.1. Definitions

• Service: the web-based PDF processing, conversion, OCR, e-signature, and subscription-management platform offered through YesPDF Online.
• User Content: PDFs, images, or other files uploaded by the User to the Service.
• Premium Plan: a paid monthly or annual subscription unlocking additional features.
• Account: the authenticated workspace assigned to each User.

By using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms.

2. Service Scope

YesPDF Online is a browser-based SaaS PDF platform. Core features include:

• PDF merge, split, compress, page extract/delete, rotate, crop, page numbering
• Word / Excel / PowerPoint / image ↔ PDF conversion
• OCR (24+ languages) and text extraction
• PDF editing (Apryse WebViewer)
• Electronic signature, qualified e-signature, mobile signature (KamuSM TSA integration)
• Watermarking, redaction (KVKK forensic redaction), PDF/A conversion
• Subscription-based Premium features (unlimited processing, full toolset)

YesPDF may evolve, change, or retire features without prior notice. Material changes will be announced in-app and/or by email.

3. Account & Security

• You must be at least 18 years old or have legal guardian consent to create an account.
• Information you provide (name, email) must be accurate and current; using false or third-party information is a breach of these Terms.
• You are responsible for the secrecy of your password and for all activity under your account.
• If you suspect unauthorised access, notify support@yespdf.com.tr immediately.
• YesPDF applies reasonable security measures (TLS, bcrypt, AES-256, audit logging) but does not guarantee a service free of all security risks.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on the Service:

• Materials that infringe third-party copyrights (unauthorised copies of software, e-books, course materials, etc.).
• Pornographic content, child exploitation material, content that incites violence.
• Fake invoices, fraudulent documents, forged official documents.
• Files containing malware, ransomware, or embedded exploits.
• Personal data of third parties obtained without their explicit consent.
• Any content that violates applicable laws.

4.2. Prohibited Actions

• Sending automated bulk requests via bots / scrapers / headless browsers; attempting to bypass rate limits.
• Reverse-engineering the API or attempting to bypass security mechanisms.
• Using another person's account without permission, selling or transferring your account.
• Unauthorised access to source code; abusive usage that damages the infrastructure.
• Attempting to circumvent tax, payment, or authentication mechanisms.

Violations may result in warnings, account suspension, permanent account closure, and legal action.

5. User Content

You retain full ownership of intellectual property rights in all files you upload; YesPDF does not claim ownership.

5.1. Limited Licence

You grant YesPDF a temporary, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence over uploaded files solely to provide the Service (storage, conversion, rendering). The licence is valid only during the processing window.

5.2. Automatic Deletion

Uploaded PDFs are automatically deleted within 24 hours after processing. Output files are deleted on the same schedule.

5.3. Responsibility

You warrant that your content does not violate any law, third-party rights, or these Terms. All resulting liability rests with you.

6. Intellectual Property

The source code, design, logos, trademarks, documentation, and all related materials of YesPDF Online are the intellectual property of YES BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ YAZILIM DANIŞMANLIK SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. or its licensors.

You may use the Service for personal or internal business purposes only, in compliance with these Terms. Copying, creating derivative works, or commercial resale of the Service is prohibited.

Third-party software (e.g. Apryse WebViewer, LibreOffice, pikepdf, Tesseract OCR) is subject to its own licences.

7. Subscription & Payment

7.1. Plans

All prices are in Turkish Lira (TRY) and include VAT.

7.2. Payment

• Payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant provider with 3D Secure.
• Card details are not stored on YesPDF servers.
• Premium features are activated immediately upon payment confirmation.

7.3. Renewal

Premium subscriptions do not auto-renew. At the end of the period, the User may manually start a new subscription. This prevents surprise recurring charges.

7.4. VAT & Invoicing

An e-Archive Invoice is sent to your registered email after payment confirmation. Corporate Users wishing to receive an official e-Invoice should send their tax details to fatura@yespdf.com.tr before payment.

8. Withdrawal Right & Refunds

Under Turkish Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 6502), the consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of subscription start. However, if Premium features have been used, this right may be limited under Article 15(1)(ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation.

Subscription cancellation is one click: Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription. After cancellation, Premium remains active until the end of the current period.

9. Service Availability & Changes

• YesPDF targets 99% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Planned maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance via in-app notice / email.
• Unplanned outages are addressed as quickly as possible.
• If the Service is fully discontinued, Users are notified at least 30 days in advance, and Premium Users' remaining periods are pro-rata refunded as appropriate.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". YesPDF makes no express or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or absence of errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• YesPDF is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (loss of profit, data, business).
• YesPDF's total liability is limited to Premium fees paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• The User accepts that the Service is not a backup or sole-storage solution; backups of important files must be kept by the User.

This limitation does not apply to KVKK violations, intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer-protection obligations.

11. Indemnification

The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless YesPDF from any claims, lawsuits, regulatory penalties, fines, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from misuse of the Service, uploading content that infringes third-party rights, or unlawful behaviour.

12. Termination

12.1. By the User

You may close your account at any time via Account Settings → Close Account. All personal data is deleted within 30 days under Article 7 of KVKK.

12.2. By YesPDF

YesPDF may terminate or suspend the account in the following situations:

• Breach of these Terms, especially Section 4 (Acceptable Use).
• A legitimate request from legal or regulatory authorities.
• Failure to fulfil payment obligations (Premium accounts).
• Use that damages or risks damaging the Service infrastructure.

For severe violations, YesPDF may close the account without prior notice; in such cases, YesPDF has no obligation to refund paid fees.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Istanbul Central (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices.

For consumers, the right to apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Courts within the monetary thresholds set in Law No. 6502 is reserved.

14. Modifications

YesPDF may update these Terms as needed. Material changes are announced at least 15 days before they take effect via in-app notification and/or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
